“I was put in touch with Liz White as I was having a problem with my thigh muscle on my left leg which had been injured when carrying out sprint training.
From the start, I found Liz very thorough and very professional but also made me feel very relaxed. Our session started with background information and then a check on overall general movement culminating in my thigh problem. Various manipulations and massages took place and then discussion regarding self and future treatment. I was given a link to an online exercise programme which I found very useful. With a couple of days, I felt my leg slowly improving and within 4 weeks I was out competing in a 5 Km race which when I was first injured thought that would be impossible. I would highly recommend Liz for sport massage treatment.”
“I went to see Liz about my sprained calf muscle. This injury was preventing me from running.
I’m so glad that I chose her. Not only does she have a professional approach, but her personal touch dissipated any worries I had.
Her thorough evaluation explained how a combination of subtle problems were contributing to my reoccurring calf injuries. I now know how to proactively prevent them from returning.
With her help I was able to compete in a planned triathlon event and I’m now back running an enjoying it again.”
“I came to see Liz with a troublesome soft tissue neck and shoulder blade issue, where muscles had become knotted and tight and my neck movement had become painfully restricted over a long time. Through several sessions, Liz carefully worked on the problem areas, making very thorough assessments, giving treatment, then preparing a working plan to move forwards, which included very specific exercises relevant to the areas.
With very careful, but very effective massage and real site specific stretching, she was successful in remobilising the areas that had become so knotted due to years of restriction, owing to smaller original areas of the discomfort. The most incredible cure for me, was Liz discovering a tiny trigger point in my shoulder blade muscle area, that with treatment from her, eradicated the shoulder blade pain completely, which had troubled me for many years.
No one had discovered that before, despite several different physiotherapists working on the area previously. I believe some people are gifted with certain skills, which should be used to help others. Liz has certainly been bestowed with this gift. I highly recommend her and her special qualities as a sports massage therapist. 5* from me.”
